The best online casinos, rated honestly

We play at every casino with real money and score it on licensing, payments, games, bonuses and support. Weak casinos get weak scores, and we publish those too.

How the TrustScore works

Each casino gets a rating from 1 to 5 in five areas. We weight those areas by how much they protect your money, then turn the total into a score out of 10.

Read the full methodology
Licensing
30%
Who regulates the casino, and whether that regulator protects players.
Payments
25%
How fast withdrawals land, which methods work, limits and fees.
Games
20%
Selection, providers and how well the games actually run.
Bonuses
15%
Wagering, caps and whether the offer is worth taking.
Support
10%
Whether a real person helps when something goes wrong.

The player rating is separate. It comes from verified player reviews, and we never average it into the TrustScore. When the two disagree, that gap is worth reading about.

Casino bonuses we checked this month

Wagering and max cashout decide what a bonus is really worth, so they sit up front on every offer. Each one was checked against the casino’s own terms.

How we choose the best online casinos

Picking a casino is harder than it looks, because most ranking sites list whoever pays them the most. We rank by what happens to your money: who licenses the casino, how fast it pays out, and whether its bonuses can actually be cleared.

Every casino goes through 27 checks across five areas. We look up each licence on the regulator’s own register, test withdrawals with real money and contact support ourselves. If a casino falls short, the review says so.

Bonuses worth taking, and the ones we skip

No deposit offers, match bonuses and free spins all get the same test: can a normal player clear the wagering before the bonus expires? Offers above 25x wagering rarely pay out in our testing, so we flag them in every review.

Game selection

We look for thousands of slots from established studios, a live casino that actually works, and clear RTP information. Pragmatic Play, for example, runs live blackjack tables from €1 / $1 a hand.

Licensing and safety

A licence tells you who to complain to when something goes wrong. A UKGC or MGA licence gives you far more protection than a Curaçao one, and every review names the licence a casino holds. Check that online gambling is legal where you live before you sign up.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what players ask us most. The methodology page covers every check in detail.

What is a no deposit bonus?

A no deposit bonus is free spins or bonus cash a casino gives you when you register, before you pay anything in. You can win real money from it, but the winnings come with a wagering requirement and usually a maximum cashout, so read both terms first.

What does “wagering requirement” mean?

It is how many times you have to play through a bonus before you can withdraw. 40x on a €10 / $10 bonus means €400 / $400 in bets. Offers above 25x rarely leave players in profit, which is why every bonus we list shows its wagering up front.

Are the casinos listed here safe to play at?

We check every licence on the regulator’s own register and re-check it whenever we update a review. Each casino also gets a TrustScore built from five weighted areas, so you can see where it is strong or weak before you deposit.

How does BrilliantCasinos rate a casino?

We score five areas from 1 to 5: licensing (30%), payments (25%), games (20%), bonuses (15%) and support (10%). The weighted total becomes a TrustScore out of 10. Behind those five areas sit 27 specific checks. Read the full methodology.

What is the difference between the TrustScore and the player rating?

The TrustScore is our editorial rating, based on our own testing. The player rating comes from verified player reviews. We never average the two, and when they disagree, the gap is worth reading about.

Do you review bad casinos too?

Yes. Casinos that fail our checks get low scores and the review says why. We do not hide problems to protect an affiliate deal.
